Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purpose of this site?
The purpose of this site is to provide a listing service to foster the exchange, re-use and recycling of valuable commodities, products and services.

Does it cost to post items or services?
It's free to post items to the site. You must be a registered user in order to make posts, but there is no cost to register.

How do I register?
If you haven't already registered, click on the "Register" icon at the top right of the page. You'll be asked to provide some information about yourself (required information is in red on the form).

How do I add a post to the site?
Once you've registered with the site, you can make post from your profile page. Click the "Profile" icon at the top right of the page. If that icon isn't there, click the "Log In" icon instead. At the profile page, click the "Post an Item Wanted or Available" link. This will bring you to a simple form to complete and send to the site administrator.

What sort of things can I post?
You may post requests for recyclable commodities, products, or services or post information about those you have to offer others. Examples of recyclables posted are: HDPE plastics (even by the truckload!), paper products, old cell phones. An example of services posted is an electronics recycling drop off in a town or county.

I've already registered but I can't find my profile page
Click the "Profile" icon at the top of the page. If that icon isn't there, click the "Log In" icon instead. You must be logged in to view your profile, make posts, and edit any information.

I've made a post but it's not showing up on the site. Why is that?
All posts are read and reviewed by the site administrator within a couple of business days. The administrator will accept or deny the post and you will receive an email letting you know the status at that time. Accepted posts will appear on the site. If you do not receive an email within a couple of days, log in to your profile to see the current status of your posts. If a post was accepted or denied and you did not receive an email notification, chances are that your email server (AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, etc.) is blocking emails from this site.

What information do you collect from visitors of your web site?
Please read our privacy policy.

I'm having trouble with issues not listed here and I need help. What do I do?
